Singapore to see online gambling rising higher

The gambling companies of Singapore named Singapore Turf Club and the Singapore Pools are missing out huge opportunities of earning a good percentage of revenue by not offering the online betting opportunities to the local residents.
According to the survey conducted by the Ministry for Community Development Youth and Sports that depicts the rate of participation of the online gambling has risen 10 times over the past three years- 1% out of 2300 respondents said that they gambled online, up from just 0.1% in 2005.
The publication of Singapore AsiaOne reports that the bets that are placed with the operators are not excluded from the Betting Act and the Common Gaming Houses Act is an offence, but the online gambling will keep on rising.
Also the AsiaOne reported that the online gambling is becoming more and more popular among the young and tech savvy generation as it is easily available at any point of time and at any place.
