22 year old Richmond Hill man, Poorya Nazari, has won the prize pool of $3 million in one of the largest poker tournament outside Vegas. And he is comparatively new among the professional poker players.

Recently, Nazari has graduated from McMaster University in biochemistry. However playing poker is just his hobby. He started playing poker, with small- stakes in Grade 10 with his high school mates. His mother says, “He is very, very smart”, and she speaks lovingly of his skills as a mathematician.

Apparently he is a regular student with the talent of poker play and as an online poker player; he has been successful in his profession. Since many years, the jackpots of poker have served as his main source of income.
