To invite more gamblers in the mid period of the year i.e. from July to September Pacific Poker owner 888 ignored the effect of financial mayhem and a stronger Dollar. According to the online gaming firm the number of participating gamblers has increased to 217,000 in the third quarter of this year which is 3 percent more in comparison of last year.

To dominate the online gambling market the firm has also introduced Pacific poker in four Eastern European language formats along with the Russian, as well as additional seven more languages; even with Japanese poker client.

The Dollar goes up against the Pound and the Euro by 14% and 16% respectively between August and the end of October. “888 had traded well against the backdrop of a global financial crisis and extremely volatile exchange rates”, said the chief executive Gigi Levy. “Our underlying business remains as solid as ever, as demonstrated by the constant deposit size by local currency.
