Money raised by playing poker

Ireland- On Thursday the 29th of May 2008, Salthill Rotary Club had a poker night in the hotel named The Ardilaun to raise money in order to support the treatment of Alzheimer disease. This club has raised the funds to build an Alzheimer unit in the Merlin Park, Galway.

This event took place at 8 pm on the 29th. The ticket was worth GBP 60 each and has been decided to donate this amount to the West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation where there were an estimated number of sufferers of this disease which was counted as 4000 in numbers.

In order to support this event there were certain prizes which were kept for the final table and everyone was welcomed to participate in this social cause.
