June 11th, 2009Last Week, an act of enforcing against Internet Service Providers has been taken by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. These internet service providers are providing access to the online gambling sites. The department have asked about to stop the access of near about 200 gambling sites.
Pat Garofalo, the representative of the department endorsed the Poker Players Alliance and the Interactive Gaming Council with causative to the decision, while making the announcement. The agreement will be finalized once all the legal position basic the issuance of the notices was reviewed.
In the campaign was in opposition to the anti-poker moves, the PPA, with above 15,000 members of Minnesota State and beyond million members of the whole US, played a most a major roll.
Matthew Werden the State Director of PPA Minnesota said, “Minnesota poker players made our voices heard, the state listened and ended its ill-advices and improper attempt to circumvent the rights of Minnesota poker players”.
