From Friday 3rd October 3, the second annual PartyPoker Women’s World Open held at London, till Monday 6th October 6 2008, with 36 female players from all over the world, challenging for a share of the USD 108,000 prize-pool. The buy-in for the tournament is set at $3,000. USD 50,000 will go home with the champion.

Last year’s winner, Bev Pace, wife of comedian and poker player Norman Pace, beat Jen Mason, heads-up to win the USD 50,000, also is returning to conserve her title. The meadow has reported to include Late Night Poker finalist Maria Demetriou, Jen Mason, former PartyPoker World Open winner Pippa Flanders, Xuyen “Bad Girl” Pham, comedian Lucy Porter, former European Ladies champion Jackie Meecham, Michelle Orpe, Kathrarine Hartree, Shelley Rubenstein, Stefanie Bergener and Christine Klecz.
