October 30th, 2008

After a recent endorsement for a license to run a casino with space selected for a poker card room, a new chapter will be added in the life of London’s Hippodrome theater and nightclub at a well-known building in Leicester Square.

BLP partner Craig Baylis said that, it has been a momentous win and a landmark case for licensing and it was the first time that a multi-use facility has been granted a gaming license in London and it gives the green light for what will be a great new attraction there.

Peter Stringfellow, the night club owner took over the building gave it back its name and named the Hippodrome as “the world’s greatest discothèque” in 1983, which also went through various manifestations until 2004.
